Education qualification:
must possess a Degree in Law from a recognized University or institution.
per the Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994, it is mandatory to have passed the Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects, or any other equivalent examination in the Punjabi language.

Scheduled Castes/Tribes & Backward Classes (Punjab Only) ₹750/-
Ex-Servicemen & Dependents, PWD, EWS (Punjab Only) ₹500/-.
